Although Peter is now based in California, he continues to race in vintage events around the world. He races primarily in North America, but very often races in Australia and New Zealand and in Europe. Previous races have been in Mexico, Thailand, South America, and many other venues. The Southern Festival of Speed events cover the South Island of New Zealand in February each year. The Southern Festival of Speed has been running as a Historic and Classic racing series since 1989 with hundreds of competitors from all over the world bringing their cars to New Zealand to re-enact the famous “down under” racing of the 60s, and 70s.
